Adorned Bliss ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website and online store. This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you when you visit the site, contact us, submit artwork or pet photographs, place an order, purchase or redeem a gift certificate, join a waitlist, submit a testimonial or review, or otherwise use our services.
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, telephone number, billing or shipping information, order details, pet name or descriptive information, messages, testimonial or review content, gift-certificate recipient information, and photographs or other files you upload for an artwork commission, proofing, review, or testimonial.
We may also collect technical and usage information automatically, such as IP address or a privacy-protective hash derived from it, browser/device information, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate interaction times, cart activity, and basic security or anti-spam signals.
Payment information
When online payment is processed by a third-party payment provider such as Stripe, PayPal, or Square, payment-card or financial credentials are handled by that provider under its own privacy and security practices. We may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, amounts, and other information needed to complete and support the order, but we do not intentionally store full payment-card numbers in ArtShop.
How we use information
We use information to process and fulfill orders; create custom artwork; communicate about proofs, approvals, payments, shipment, refunds, failures, and customer-service matters; issue and redeem gift certificates; operate private order links; respond to contact requests; maintain waitlists; moderate and publish testimonials or reviews when permission is provided; prevent fraud, abuse, and spam; maintain site security; improve the website and customer experience; keep business and accounting records; and comply with legal obligations.
Photographs and custom-artwork files
Photos submitted for a private order are stored as private order files and are intended for creating and supporting the commissioned artwork. They are not automatically published to the public website. A customer may separately choose to submit or authorize photos for a testimonial or verified review; those images are not made public until the applicable moderation/approval process permits publication.
Testimonials and reviews
If you submit a testimonial or review and authorize publication, we may display the name, location, rating, testimonial/review text, and approved images you provided. Verified-order reviews may be associated internally with the related order. You should only submit content you have the right to share.
Gift certificates
For gift certificates we may collect purchaser and recipient names and email addresses, the gift message, certificate value, certificate code, redemption history, and remaining balance so we can issue, deliver, validate, and service the certificate.
Cookies, sessions, and local storage
The site uses essential session technology to maintain functions such as the shopping cart, security tokens, admin authentication, and private order access. The Favorites feature, if enabled, may use browser local storage. Optional analytics or advertising services may use additional cookies or similar technologies.
Abandoned carts
If abandoned-cart recovery is enabled and you enter an email address during checkout without completing the order, we may temporarily save the email address, name, and cart contents so the cart can be restored and, if enabled, a reminder can be sent. The current store setting expires open abandoned-cart records after a limited period.
How we share information
We may share information with service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the business, such as website hosting providers, payment processors, email providers, shipping carriers, security/anti-spam providers, and advertising platforms that you have consented to or that are otherwise lawfully enabled. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information for money. Certain advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising activities may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under some privacy laws even when no money changes hands; if such activities apply, we will provide any choices required by applicable law.
Data retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including order fulfillment, customer service, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and legitimate business record keeping. Retention periods vary by data type. Private uploaded order files may be retained while an order is active and for a reasonable period afterward unless deletion is required or appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information, including restricted private-file storage for customer order uploads and standard account/session protections. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. You may also have rights relating to targeted advertising, sale, or sharing. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may be retained when legally permitted or required.
Marketing communications
If you opt in to marketing communications, you can ask us to stop sending them at any time. Transactional messages about an order, payment, proof, shipment, refund, failed payment, gift certificate, or customer-service request are not marketing messages.
Children's privacy
This website and store are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us.
Third-party links
The website may link to third-party services or websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
